The Crew

A lifelong 'Jersey native, I've been fishing since I was 5.  I learned from my Dad how to fish freshwater brooks, streams, rivers & lakes in Canada as a youngster. I honed my saltwater fishing skills from the Raritan & Barnegat Bays to being raised on the 'Jersey Shore at Chadwick Beach, so I've never been more than a few miles from salt water my whole life.

From the Bays to the Beaches; from the Inshore Fishing Grounds to the Offshore Canyons; I've 'put in the time' & will work hard to insure the highest quality fishing experience for my charter clients. If you'd like references, please send an e-mail & we'll put you in touch with Carcharodon charter clients.

Paul Pesce

Paul is a good friend of mine who has knowledge of every kind of saltwater fishing prey, is a great rigger & a helluva guy with a shotgun when the Makos get close to the boat...or not so close too! What you'll find most interesting, though, is his patience with children, mommies & those "less than fishing-gifted" people. Families coming back for a second & third trip ask for him, kids love him...fish still fear him. An accomplished bow hunter, Paul can be regularly found in a tree stand...somewhere in 'Jersey, once deer season begins.

Captain Kevin Carey

Kevin fishes out of Clinton, CT when he's not with us & can run the boat with Paul if I'm not available. He also owns a house up near Okemo & his wife is a Level 3 ski instructor. Kev is a great skier. BTW, want to know anything about Fred Archer? Ask Kev

Charles Vanderbeck

Charles (no 'Chucks', please) is one hard worker...ask anyone who fished with us last season! His fishing talent & experience is great, but as well, he learned to detail & maintain boats working with a professional crew. We certainly liked that! Charles lives locally in Manasquan, attends Brookdale College. While he is available to us & our clients on a moments notice,  if the surf is high and well formed, you'd best have a reservation on his day planner! LOL
