The Crew

Captain Bob Balewicz

Owner

Coast Guard Licensed Master Captain

A lifelong 'Jersey native, I've been fishing since I was 5.  I learned from my Dad how to fish freshwater brooks, streams, rivers & lakes in Canada as a youngster. I honed my saltwater fishing skills from the Raritan & Barnegat Bays to being raised on the 'Jersey Shore at Chadwick Beach, so I've never been more than a few miles from salt water my whole life.

From the Bays to the Beaches; from the Inshore Fishing Grounds to the Offshore Canyons; I've 'put in the time' & will work hard to insure the highest quality fishing experience for my charter clients. If  you'd like references, please send an e-mail & we'll put you in touch with Carcharodon charter clients.

Captain Kevin Carey
United States Coast Guard Master Captain

Kevin fishes out of Clinton, CT when he's not with us & can run the boat with Paul if I'm not available. He also owns a house up near Okemo & his wife is a Level 3 ski instructor. Kev is a great skier.

BTW, want to know anything about Fred Archer? Ask Kev.

Paul Pesce
Mate

Glad to say Paul will be with me again this season. Paul is a good friend of mine who has knowledge of every kind of saltwater fishing prey, is a great rigger & a helluva guy with a shotgun when the Makos get close to the boat...or not so close too!

What you'll find most interesting, though, is his patience with children, mommies & those "less than fishing-gifted" people. Families coming back for a second & third trip ask for him, kids love him...fish still fear him.

An accomplished bow hunter, Paul can be regularly found in a tree stand...somewhere in 'Jersey, once deer season begins.

Bryan Colligan
Mate

Bryan has advanced very quickly in working with me & is shown with his first ever gaffed Mahi. Remember the date: August 1, 2007. Sorry Bryan, had to bust you a bit, Paul still cannot believe you did it (LOL).

Inshore...and slightly offshore...he's really come alive & is doing a great job.

He spends a lot of 'off-hours' doing little (& big) things to keep the boat ship-shape, but believe me, to have him in the engine room before I leave, checking the engines/genny on a daily basis? Takes a big load off my mind!

Update for 2007-8 wrestling season? Brian went 22-7, nice job kid!
