Okemo itself is a 'quieter' ski mountain; not as many 'yahoos' as other places, maybe even tucked out of the way a bit, but if you go to ski, I mean really SKI, then you'll appreciate the ease at which you can get around town.

If you're used to skiing New York, it's only another 2 hours to Okemo & the mountains are 10x the size of the closer NY ski areas....

The 2008 season is far from over, kiddies. While the sledding was not great...yet... the skiing, as usual, was wonderful at Okemo.
